This course will be led by Margaret Byrne from Learning Unlimited, and will introduce delegates to the interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning entitled "Joyning the Learning".
The approach focuses on Active Learning, and links to many other initiatives such as AiFL, creativity and collaborative learning. Clips from various topic packs will illustrate what Joyning looks like, sounds like and feels like in the classroom and will show the CfE principles of curriculum design in action.
Participants will:
- Understand the 'why' and the 'how 'of Joyning the Learning
- See the fun returning to teaching and Learning
- Make the connections to Active Learning and to CfE
- Be inspired to use this interdisciplinary approach in their classrooms
