This seminar, presented by Create Consultancy, aims to develop the skills and knowledge of delegates to teach about alcohol in a secondary school setting in line with current evidence and best practice.
After the seminar it is hoped that delegates will:
- Be able to outline appropriate goals for alcohol education
- Understand the available research evidence on effective alcohol education
- Have experienced a number of practical classroom activities
- Have considered how to respond to difficult issues when delivering lessons on alcohol
