This seminar, presented by Morven Bell of Create Consultancy, aims to develop the skills and knowledge of delegates to teach about alcohol in a secondary school setting in line with current evidence and best practice.

After the seminar it is hoped that delegates will:

  • Be able to outline appropriate goals for alcohol education
  • Understand the available research evidence on effective alcohol education
  • Have experienced a number of practical classroom activities
  • Have considered how to respond to difficult issues when delivering lessons on alcohol
