The aims of the workshop are:
- To increase understanding of the needs of boarders
- To encourage reflection on the skills boarding staff need to work effectively
- To familiarise delegates with the new inspection arrangements
- To provide an overview of good practice
The programme will include sessions on:
- Meeting Boarders' Needs
- Clarifying your Role
- Dealing with Difficult Issues
- Care Commission Inspections
All boarding house tutors who are keen to develop their practice are warmly invited to attend.
