Classroom Assistants' Seminar: Supporting Children in their Learning in Maths

This workshop will be presented by the outstanding Lynda Keith, and will provide highly stimulating ideas, a host of resources, and encouragement - all delivered with a sense of fun and no end of enthusiasm.
Following on from the success of last year's course, Lynda Keith will focus on:
- supporting children with common difficulties in Maths
- using effective questioning and interaction strategies to engage children in talking about their learning
- offering challenge to extend children's thinking
- encouraging children to express their thinking in a variety of ways to develop confidence
- providing feedback to children and to staff about progress
All Classroom Assistants are warmly invited to attend.
