CPD Co-ordinators' Conference: supporting staff development and reflective practice

The day will be led by Graham Thomson of SCSSA, and will focus on the role of CPD Co-ordinators in promoting professional development in schools. The day will provide CPD C0-0rdinators with a toolkit to enable them to develop their role more effectively and support the development of the expertise of their colleagues.

Classroom Observation - how to make it a supportive and constructive experience
Professional Development interviews - how to make them effective
Distributed leadership - how to support professional developemtn through leadership oppportunities
Whole school INSET programmes - how to ensure they have impact
Change - how to create capacity for change.
