Session 1: New perspectives about what counts as ability and success in 21st century education
We consider and explore ways of applying the findings of recent research in creativity and high ability studies in the inclusive classroom: every lesson counts for every child no matter how high their ability.

Session 2: Learning to think and thinking to learn
How to build a repertoire of classroom techniques to foster critical and creative thinking in every lesson for every child. In this session we examine the core skills of teaching without telling and how to manage them in classrooms where the abilities of the children are widely separated. We explore practical ways of helping children of all abilities to learn how to think for themselves so that they become discerning, reflective and self-reliant learners.

Session 3: Learning by looking: practical approaches to teaching critical and creative thinking at the higher levels
In the session we learn to foster and manage high level talk and thought in classroom groups and practise how to plan these into every lesson. We use some of the basic materials for teaching critical and creative thinking and learn how to adapt these creatively to enrich and enhance all your lessons. Visible thinking through talk and thought in every lesson.

Session 4: Now, before and after: progression and continuity in the teaching of critical and creative thinking
