Developing Global Citizenship

The programme for the day will include a wide range of presentations and has been designed to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences relating to the promotion of global citizenship in schools and consideration of the impact of successful projects on pupils and the school communities involved.

School presentations will include examples of partnerships with schools abroad including Comenius partnerships, the Confucius classroom, the International Schools Award, student and teacher exchanges and Model United Nations.

There will be representation from the British Council, SCILT and Scottish PEN.

All staff with an interest in promoting global citizenship amongst young people are warmly invited to attend the conference.
