Keir Bloomer was a member of the review group which wrote ‘A Curriculum for Excellence' and was chair of the Higher Order Skills Excellence Group.

Building the Curriculum and Timetabling
Presentations from a range of SCIS schools on approaches to building the curriculum and the timetabling process.

TWIG -an online resource of over 500 science films and learning materials mapped against both the English and Scottish curricula. Launched in January 2011 www.twig-it.com is a new website designed to cover all aspects of the science curriculum for pupils aged 9 to 16. A number of SCIS schools are already using the resource with very positive feedback.

Update on the National Assessment Resource- Linda Rae, Education Scotland

There will be ample time for Q&A, discussion and networking, and all Directors of Studies are warmly invited to attend.

This annual event has proved to be a popular and stimulating gathering for Directors of Studies.
