An induction workshop for new Governors, and a refresher course for more experienced Governors.
This training seminar will be led by:
Judith Sischy, Director of SCIS, and
Gordon Jack, Chairman of The Glasgow Academy
The programme will include:
- The Independent Schools Sector in Scotland - an overview
- Maintaining and Improving Standards
- The Essential Trustee - what you need to know about
- Responsibilities, delegation, compliance, and good practice
- Acting with care and diligence
All Heads are asked to nominate a Governor.
