Introduction to Using SMARTBoards

This course is the first in a series of SMARTBoard courses. The second course in the programme SMARTBoard Content Creation is being held on Wednesday 25 January at the same hotel. The two days can be booked either as standalone courses or combined to form a two day residential course. The charge for each day is £100. If you wish to book both days, B&B can be booked at £85 per person. (Dinner is not included.)
This workshop is aimed at junior and senior staff who wish to develop their skills in using SMARTBoards. The workshop will include the following distinct learning modules:
Getting started:
Learn about hardware components, how the SMARTBoard interactive whiteboard works and the basic principles of touch, write and save.
Basic design in Notebook software:
Add images and interactivity to lesson activities created in Notebook software 10. Learn how to manoeuvre through the software using tabs, toolbars and menus, and discover how to customise tools, change properties and manipulate objects.
Instructional design for interactive whiteboards:
Learn design techniques for setting up lessons on an interactive whiteboard.

Each delegate needs to bring:
- a laptop in good working order with the latest Notebook Software, full Gallery content and Lesson Activity Toolkit 2 installed -
