The event provides an opportunity to meet the key education correspondents of the Scottish press.
The objective is to help schools:
- meet the key journalists who report on education
- understand how the newspaper industry works, what is newsworthy and what isn't
- overcome the ‘fear factor' when speaking to journalists and communicate with them to best effect
SCIS hopes to create a low-key event that is both informative and conducive to discussion.
The event is free of charge.
