This is a widely-requested repeat of the 'Meet the Press' event held in May 2009 with a group of Education Correspondents from the Scottish media.
The event is designed to enable schools to increase their understanding of how the news industry operates, so that they can work with journalists to improve their media coverage. EAch of the Education Correspondents in attendance will spend around 15 minutes at each table, so that all delegates have an opportunity to ask questions in small groups. To conclude, there will be a short plenary, at which delegates will be be invited to share what they have learned, and the journalists present will be invited to summarise their top tips for effective press relations.
