This popular course is designed to help teachers reflect on how to:

- Create a positive learning environment through a range of discipline and behaviour management techniques

- Establish rights, responsibilities and rules early on

- Deal with challenging behaviours in an assertive manner

- Manage and communicate anger


The course will be led by Hugh Gallagher of Strathclyde University.

The course will be of interest to probationers as well as more experienced teachers looking to develop the range of behaviour management strategies they employ in the classroom.
