Tuesday 15 November 2011
Location: Stewart's Melville College, 3 Queensferry Road, Eidnburgh EH4 E (location map)
Twilight session - 3.30 - 5.30 p.m.
The session will be presented by Peter Johnson, of Kitchen Chemistry.
Simple experiments using household items from the kitchen can be great to liven up Primary science classes, but when linked to investigations or thinking skills activities they become even more effective.
This hands-on workshop will show how you can use simple household items to make exciting experiments for your Primary science classes, and then link these to extended investigations and thinking skills activities that form a major part of a Curriculum for Excellence.
During this hands-on practical session, participants will gain confidence in running practical experiments, and experience how easy it is to run fun practical experiments.
Coffee/tea will be provided.
Maximum of 20 delegates, so prompt booking is recommended.
Estimated cost per delegate £35
Please register by 7 November
