Sport and PE Conference: 'Raising the Bar'

‘Raising the Bar' - developing high quality sport and physical education
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Coffee & registration from 9.30 a.m.
Dr David Morley has been involved in multi-skills development for a number of years and has established talent development programmes across the UK. David has worked extensively with Governing Bodies of sport, and has presented his work nationally and internationally.
There will be 5 Workshops which will run twice during the morning. Delegates will choose one workshop from each workshop session.
Workshop 1: The application of multi-skills into sports
Workshop 2: Developing talented athletes
Workshop 3: FUNS - a fundamental movement programme
Workshop 4: Creating winning teams with a small hall & playground!
Workshop 5: Assessment for learning to accelerate development
After lunch, there will be practical activities: delegates will choose one practical activity session
- team games;
- ‘developing the thinking tennis player';
- fundamental movement;
We will finish with a review, and consideration of next steps.
Cost per delegate: £100
