UK Borders Agency Workshop/Information Morning

SCIS is hosting an information morning with Lynn McIntosh of the UK Borders Agency. The event will take the form of a Workshop, and will be an opportunity for school staff to raise queries and concerns, and to to seek clarification on matters relating to UKBA sponsor licences.
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. followed by a soup & sandwich lunch
Coffee & Registration from 9.30 a.m.
The workshop will touch on issues such as:
- how to make a Tier 4 application
- how to make a Tier 2 application
- the impact of the cap on immigration
- Highly Trusted Status: its benefits and how to obtain it
- how the Youth Mobility Scheme could be used for Gap year students
- the outcome of UKBA's recent consultation on Tier 4
