We are delighted to welcome Matt Robinson, Training and Development Officer with Learning through Landscapes, to lead the Autumn Conference. Play is the way that young children engage with and learn about the world around them. Extending activities into the outdoors requires thought and support for staff to really maximise the rich and varied experiences for early years.
The vision of Learning through Landscapes is that every child can experience the wide range of benefits by:
- Transforming learning;
- Transforming spaces; and
- Transforming childhood
Using the Outdoor Classroom at Beaconhurst, the day will provide an insight into how children can connect with nature, become more active, learn outdoors, develop social skills and have fun. More information about Learning through Landscapes can be found here .
Colleagues should wear clothing appropriate for the outdoors.
All Early Years staff are warmly invited to attend this annual conference which is always a very enjoyable day and an excellent opportunity for networking.
