Course Description

The Autumn Conference will be split into two sessions:

Session One

Head Injuries: neurology and transitional care

Using a live case-study, there will be a presentation and input from a senior student and his support team (including hospital staff) to share experience and good practice when working in partnership in this context.

Session Two

Sharing of Good Practice

This session will give nurses and matrons an opportunity to share good practice and have focussed discussions on a range of topics of mutual interest.

Group discussions will be facilitated on issues including:

  • protocols and policies
  • sports first aid
  • recording information
  • job descriptions
  • salary ranges
  • holiday entitlement

If there are any specific topics, in addition to the above, that you would like to see addressed please include this in the registration form under “Other Requirements”.

All nurses and matrons are warmly invited to attend, letting us know on the registration form whether you will be staying for lunch and please also note any dietary requirements.

Please register as soon as possible and by Friday 22 September at the latest.
