Exploring the world and beyond: Children in Europe annual conference - 16 September, Edinburgh.
‘Successfully developing and maintaining children's interest in science requires an approach that encourages and helps them to explore their environment, construct their own theories and create meaning. Establishing spaces for children to help them discover the world on their own and encouraging a ‘hands-on' approach are essential to successful science education.
This conference will debate the issues raised by Children in Europe's examination of science learning for young children and will include examples of innovative science projects for children aged 0-14 years from across the UK and Europe.'
