Qalam Academy

Al-Qalam School is looking for GTCS Registered Primary and Secondary School Teachers to teach broad general education for Primary 1-7 and S1/S2.

Qalam Academy is one of Scotland’s innovative schools with a vision of developing effective delivery methodologies around Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.

The school currently provides P1-P7 education and S1/2 in Glasgow and is now expanding its offerings to Edinburgh (starting October 2017) and in future Dundee (planned start in August 2018)

We are actively looking for primary teachers (Fulltime/ Jobshare) and part time secondary teachers in Edinburgh and Glasgow who can deliver broad general education for S1/S2 around core learning experiences of English, Social Subjects, Maths, Science and Technology Subjects.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and passionate about their profession. Candidates must have a can-do attitude and willing to take challenges and lead the way to innovating teaching methodologies.
