Vacancy Description / Summary

The Edinburgh Academy is looking for a talented and dedicated External Relations Officer to join the Development and Alumni Relations Office, which focuses on three main areas:

• keeping in touch with former pupils and other members of the Edinburgh Academy (EA) community through appropriate communications and events

• facilitating career support and networking within the EA community

• raising philanthropic income to benefit the school and its pupils

Amongst other things, the successful candidate will be the main point of contact for a wide variety of communications with various external constituents, and will be responsible for planning and managing a series of engaging events for former pupils and others which will involve working occasional weekends and evenings.  

The successful candidate will be a graduate with excellent organisational and (written and verbal) communications skills, as well as, a positive and proactive team-player.
