Vacancy Description / Summary

Kilgraston School invites applications for a qualified nurse. The successful applicant will be expected to provide a clinically effective, high quality service of nursing care and health promotion to pupils and first aid care to all members of the school community.

Kilgraston is a thriving boarding and day school educating girls from 5 to 18 years old. As a non-selective school we are very proud to be the Sunday Times top performing independent school for Advanced Highers in 2016.

The position is part-time, fifteen hours per week to be made up of two evenings and two mornings.

About the School

Kilgraston School is the Sunday Times Scottish Independent School of the Year 2014. The school was commended for "excellent" exam results, "outstanding modern facilities", "a supportive and caring learning environment" and “the range of opportunities for girls to develop leadership skill and succeed in all areas of life".

In September 2015 Kilgraston the second highest performing independent school for Highers in Scotland with 99% of students passing and two thirds achieving A grades. Kilgraston is a school with traditional values but with a modern perspective on education.
