Vacancy Description / Summary
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Admissions Officer, who will also act as Marketing Administrator. This is a permanent post, working 35 hours per week over the full year. Some work at evenings and weekends is required, and hours of work therefore have some degree of flexibility. Reduced hours may be considered for suitably experienced and/or qualified candidate.
This is a front-facing role, encompassing the school’s admissions function and outwards facing events administration. We are looking for a proactive and confident individual, with experience in relationship building, ideally within a school admissions environment, to develop this role at an exciting time in the school’s history.
As a first point of contact for prospective pupils and their parents, a warm and welcoming approach, with an excellent telephone manner and a calm and composed demeanour is essential. This role requires proven organisational and administration skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
The post-holder will work both independently and as part of a small team, and should be a quick learner with excellent attention to detail. Some musical knowledge may be beneficial for this role, but is not a requirement.
St Mary’s Music School aims to offer the highest possible standard of education and musical training in an inspiring, inclusive and supportive environment.
