How to Apply?
Once you have an idea of the schools that you are interested in, it’s time to start the application process.
The first thing to do is contact the school to arrange a visit. You can attend a school Open Day or have a private tour. You can always follow up an Open Day visit with a scheduled appointment. Either way you will have a chance to talk to both staff and pupils and feel the atmosphere of the school.
The Application form is pretty straightfoward, but make sure you meet any application deadlines that the school may set. Check the school website or speak to the Admissions team about this or any other questions you may have.
Some schools may require your child to sit an entrance exam or assessment, It is simply a way for the school to understand your child’s strengths and abilities. The schools are not assessing areas your child will not already have covered in their current school, although the language used may be slightly different. If you, or your child feel daunted in any way please speak to the school.
Fees & Financial Assistance
Whilst there is no doubt that an independent education is an investment, financial support is available to help with school fees. You will need to enquire about fee assistance about a year before you hope to enrol in the school.
