School Description

Glenalmond College is a coeducational boarding and day school set in 300 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside. With more than 70% of pupils boarding, the College offers a vibrant and supportive community where academic excellence is complemented by a wide range of co-curricular opportunities, from sport and outdoor learning to music, drama and the creative arts.

The achievements of our 2025 leavers highlight the strength of a Glenalmond education: nearly 90% were accepted into their first-choice university, with 50% progressing to prestigious Russell Group institutions and a further 15% to the University of St Andrews. These results reflect the ambition fostered in every pupil.

Significant investment continues to enhance the pupil experience. In summer 2025, Glenalmond completed a full refurbishment of the Sixth Form Centre, upgraded Boarding House common rooms, and replaced 300 mattresses across the school.
