Event Description

The Advanced Higher English Practitioner Conference offers valuable CPD for all teachers - and prospective teachers - of Advanced Higher English. This year, the event will once again be hosted at the High School of Dundee.

With input from experienced SQA markers, and the inclusion of new SQA-verified materials from the 2025 exam diet (which are not yet available on Understanding Standards), the conference will address key aspects of the course including literary study, textual analysis, and dissertation.

Our guest speaker will also share practical advice on how best to use the extensive free resources of the National Library of Scotland to support pupils with dissertation research.

Registration deadline: Monday 20th October, 4:00pm.

Payment details will be sent shortly after booking and payment must be made in advance.  Cancellations must be advised before this deadline as refunds are not possible after this date.  We do welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost if needed.
