  • A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend or cancels within 5 working days prior to the event.
  • We welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost.
  • Cancellations for residential courses must be advised 6 weeks prior to the event.

Event Description

This proactive and powerful training event for experienced CP Leads will be for those looking to improve how information is recorded and shared appropriately; build confidence in dealing with the National and Local contexts as well as ensuring Leadership and Accountability.  The day will include real example scenarios, activities & team working to identify professional practice and work to avoid dangerous practices.

Outcomes:

  1. Strong understanding of what an effective safeguarding chronology looks like
  2. Enhanced analytical skills to use chronologies to identify emerging patterns & cumulative harm
  3. Increased confidence in information sharing decisions and legal thresholds
  4. Empowerment in working with external agencies
  5. Consistent professional practice in structuring chronologies

We are delighted to welcome Caren McLean to lead this impactful training day.  Caren is a Safeguarding Consultant and Independent Reviewer, Former Head of Child Protection CELCIS and Chair of Falkirk APC/CPC.
