Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellations must be advised by email 5 working days prior to the event.
  • A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend or cancels within 5 working days prior to the event.
  • We welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost.
  • Cancellations for residential courses must be advised 6 weeks prior to the event.

Event Description

All colleagues with involvement in exam coordination are invited to join us for the SQA Exam Coordinators Conference.   

The morning will include presentations from the following:   

  • Qualifications & Operations Update - Martin Ingram, Operations, Logistics and Customer Engagement & Robert Quinn, English, Language and Business, SQA
  • Workshop - Sarah Brown, Senior Advisor, Schools Partnership Team, SQA
  • Quality Assurance in Access Arrangements - Donna Vivers, Liaison Manager, SQA

In addition, there will be additional SQA representation to answer any questions through the afternoon:

  • Donna Vivers – Liaison Manger who leads on QA of AA
  • Donna Gray – Liaison Manager for Edinburgh
  • (TBC) Michelle Cuningham - Policy  Research Manager – Equalities
  • (TBC) Sooz Liddle - Qualifications Co-ordinator Qualifications Portfolio Management

The afternoon session will include:

  • Exploring Digital Assessment Arrangements to Support Learner Success - Kirstin Barr, CALL SCOTLAND

This session is designed to deepen your understanding of assessment arrangements and your role in supporting learners with diverse needs. We’ll begin with an overview of the core principles that underpin assessment arrangements, helping you to make proportionate and appropriate decisions for your learners.

You will explore the specifics of digital assessment arrangements, including the different formats available and the potential benefits they offer. The session will also highlight key factors to consider when evaluating their suitability for individual learners.
