Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellations must be advised by email 5 working days prior to the event.
  • A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend or cancels within 5 working days prior to the event.
  • We welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost.
  • Cancellations for residential courses must be advised 6 weeks prior to the event.

Event Description

All EA/PA's are warmly invited to attend the SCIS Executive PA Conference 2025.

We are delighted to host a full day of informative learning and development dedicated to support the challenging and ever changing role of PA/EA in an independent school. 

The keynote workshop will be on POWERFUL PARTNERS A.K.A. MANAGING YOUR BOSS by Mel Sherwood where you will:

  • Identify their personal communication strengths and blind spots

  • Learn how to influence and support their Head effectively without overstepping

  • Practice simple, assertive language structures for tricky conversations

  • Gain tools to build trust and credibility with a changing leadership team

In addition, further sessions will include:

    • How to streamline tasks to free up your time, use AI to create content & marketing material as well as using AI to help engagement and the key ethical considerations to be aware of - from the Scottish AI Alliance.

    • Successful SLT/Board meetings & minutes 

    • Critical incidents - Michael Hashim, Executive from Education Practice, Marsh Commercial Insurance

    • Q&A session lead by an experienced PA 

There will be collaboration and networking opportunities throughout the day.
