Event Description

Following the release of Home Office guidance in April 2026, this webinar will help schools understand the practical steps needed to comply with Martyn’s Law (the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025).

Under this legislation, organisers of public events must implement standardised counter-terrorism measures. For independent schools, this requires the school's senior leadership team to review current safety and event plans and make any necessary enhancements.

The session will cover:

  • Whether your school’s events are in scope
  • What the law expects from schools under the Standard Tier
  • The potential consequences of non‑compliance
  • Practical steps your school should consider now
  • How to assess whether your school is properly prepared

We are delighted to be joined by Lorna Hudson, Risk Partner at Marsh, who will lead this session.
