Cancellations must be advised by email 5 working days prior to the event.
A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend or cancels within 5 working days prior to the event.
We welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost.
Cancellations for residential courses must be advised 6 weeks prior to the event.

Event Description

Join fellow school librarians for a day of professional learning, discussion and networking focused on inclusive library practice.

The programme will include a session from Wendy Kirk, Glasgow Women's Library, exploring the library's work to promote equality, representation and inclusion.

We are also delighted to welcome Professor Melanie Ramdarshan Bold, University of Glasgow, co-author of the CLPE Reflecting Realities reports, who will share insights into diversity and representation in children's literature.

Alison Martin and Kate Lyall of Hutchesons' Grammar School will discuss supporting neurodivergent pupils and their school's journey through the Autism Practice Improvement Project (APIP).

The afternoon will feature a collaborative workshop on inclusive collection development, offering delegates the opportunity to share ideas, discuss challenges and learn from colleagues across the sector.

This event is an excellent opportunity to connect with peers and gain practical ideas to support and develop library services within your school.
