We are pleased to invite you to this session focused on improving records retention practices across the education sector.

This session provides an opportunity to contribute to the review of the Education Schedule, led by Frank Rankin, Information Governance Consultant, helping to shape a more streamlined and practical approach to managing education records.

The review aims to reduce complexity by simplifying record categories, consolidating retention rules, and introducing clearer retention triggers.

About the Session

Frank Rankin will outline the current review of the Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) Records Retention Schedules, with a focus on the upcoming work on the Education Schedule.

This session is designed to gather feedback from you. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore proposed changes and contribute practical insights based on their roles.
